Sub: Extension of deadline for mandatory uploading of supporting documents under SWIFT

Dear Member,

We are pleased to inform you that Air Cargo Complex (Sahar) has issued Public Notice  No. 57/2018 regarding extension of deadline for mandatory uploading of supporting documents under SWIFT to 01^st April, 2018  instead of 15^th March, 2018.

As you may be aware, it was mandatory to upload the supporting documents through e-SANCHIT facility for all the Bills of Entry filed at Customs w.e.f. 15^th March, 2018.

In this regard, members of Trade had expressed their difficulties and hence, Board has decided the following-

• To postpone the mandatory implementation of e-SANCHIT to 01^st April, 2018. 
• No physical document will be accepted from 01^st April, 2018.   
• There will be no further extension.
• After 01^st April, 2018, the system would simply disallow the filing of a bill of entry unless it is filed with the Image Reference Number (IRN Nos.) evidencing that supporting documents has been first uploaded using e- SANCHIT.

Also, Mumbai Customs has issued Public Notice No. 48/2018 dated 22^nd March, 2018 and Public Notice No. 49/2018 dated 23^rd March, 2018 on the same subject.
