Re : Participation in “IM Intermoda”, Mexico during January 2020
SRTEPC is organizing participation of member-companies in the above mentioned International Fair in Guadalajara in Mexico from January 14th to 17th 2020.
IM Intermoda, one of the leading and very popular Fairs in Mexico, attracts more than 10000 buyers & traders in search of their future suppliers of textile and apparels. During the last edition, the Fair had a total number of 1371 booths from 17 countries including Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Canada, Italy, etc. --- representing 10 segments of textiles/apparels.
Highlights of IM Intermoda:
Mexico is United State’s 3rd largest trading partner.
Mexico is the 2nd destination of all US exports.
Mexico accounts for roughly 1/6th of all US export-valued business.
22 American states depend on Mexico as their 1st or 2nd destination for exports.
More than $ 1.25 billion valued business a day is transacted in a 2-way trade.
Nearly 50000 US small and medium sized enterprises export to Mexico.
This Fair provides an excellent platform to the producers/exporters of fabrics, made-ups, yarn and apparels for showcasing their products to their target customers in the South American market including Mexico.
A highly subsidized amount of Rs.1.3 lakhs for a booth of 12.96 sqm (3.60 m x 3.60 m) has been fixed towards participation charge in the Fair under the MAI Scheme, against its actual cost of Rs.2.16 lakhs payable by the Council to the organizers of the Fair.
Eligible member-participants are also entitled to get reimbursement of costs of two-way airfares, subject to a maximum limit of Rs.1 lakh.
Due to very high demand for participation in the Fair, SRTEPC could get only 14 booths against its actual requirement for 20 booths.
In view of the above & very limited time availability for confirmation, those very keen to participate in this Fair are requested to immediately book their booths, as the Council has only a few booths left for taking new bookings from member-companies.
