Sub.: Review of the Foreign Trade Policy – Inviting suggestions

Dear Member,

Kindly refer to Council’s earlier Circular No.ES/81/2019-20 dated July 1, 2019  informing about the decision of DGFT to revise the current Foreign Trade Policy (2015-2020).  

With regard to the above, the Council had invited suggestions / inputs from our members for framing the proposed new Foreign Trade Policy.                                                                              

Now, DGFT has issued Trade Notice No.22/2019-20 dated 03^rd July, 2019 requesting  once again Members of Trade to send suggestions on the Foreign Trade Policy and Hand Book of Procedures to the link provided https://www.bit.ly/2NuJh9Z since they have started receiving suggestions in large numbers.

Hence, the Council too requests you to send your valuable suggestions / inputs to us on  the Foreign Trade Policy and Hand Book of Procedures, Chapter-wise, in the format given below at (ed@srtepc.in/ es@srtepc.in) for enabling the Council to make a comprehensive submission to the Government. Your reply should reach us latest by 10^th July, 2019.

Members may kindly make a note of the above and do the needful at the earliest.
